Position Available: Supervisor
Status: Full-Time
Location: Vail/Beaver Creek, CO

SSV Supervisors are responsible for assisting in the management of the sales, rentals, staff, and operational and merchandising functions of the store to attain maximum profitability, productivity, and a world - class guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Generate rental and retail sales, and demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service
• Assist Store Manager in maintaining an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest service
• Provide resources so that employees are properly trained in rentals, POS, product knowledge, guest service, and sales generation
• Role model and administer company policies and guidelines
• Assist Store Manager in communicating company values and goals to the employees
• Assist Store Manager in monitoring and controlling a daily payroll budget
• Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
• Remain current on new industry products and trends; demonstrate knowledge of products
• Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
• Create a rewarding environment in which to work, generate a team atmosphere
• Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods - Required
• Ability to routinely lift merchandise, packages, and other items of at least 25 pounds -Required
• Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English - Required
• Snowsports background - Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint - Required
• Strong customer service skills - Required
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task - Required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends - Required
• Previous supervisory experience - Preferred
• Experience with rental and retail POS systems - Preferred
• Experience in the retail industry - Preferred

• Assist Store Manager in maintaining an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest service
• Provide training resources for employees in POS, product knowledge, guest service, and sales
• Administer company policies and guidelines
• Assist Store Manager in communicating company values and goals to the employees
• Assist Store Manager in monitoring and controlling a daily payroll budget
• Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
• Enforce company cash handling and other Loss Prevention policies and procedures
• Recruit and assist in training and maintaining a quality core staff
• Remain current on new industry products and trends; demonstrate knowledge of products
• Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
• Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• High school diploma of equivalent - Required
• 1 year of retail experience - Required
• 1 year of supervisory experience - Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Required
• English fluency - Required
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal - Required
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task - Required
• For All Mountain operations snowsports background - Required
• Experience in Rental industry - Preferred
• Familiarity with rental and retail POS systems - Preferred

• Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth
• Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
• Role model and administer company policies and guidelines
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and maintain a quality core staff
• Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures, and other loss prevention policies
• Provide training resources in POS, product knowledge, guest service, resort information, and sales
• Conduct performance appraisals for and coach development of staff on a regular basis
• Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
• Communicate ideas or issues with the Regional Manager
• Manage operational budget
• Remain current on new industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products
• Be energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of management experience - Required
• At least 5 years of snowsports background a must- Required
• High school diploma or equivalent - Required
• 2 years of retail experience - Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Required
• English fluency - Required
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal - Required
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task - Required
• Familiarity with rental and retail POS systems - Preferred
