Position Available: Lead Sales Associate - Colorado Ski & Sport - Park Meadows
Status: Full Time Year Round
The Lead Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets. Acts as store department lead and help ensure the department had appropriate inventory levels.
We are looking for Lead Sales Associates in the following departments: Alpine, Snowboards, Apparel, Footwear, Ski/Golf, Golf and Rental/Jr. Trade.
• Serves customers by establishing rapport, building customer confidence, providing accurate information, and promoting product through point of successful sale
• Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with customer upon contact; by phone or in person
• Answer all questions, providing detailed information, and establishing trust with the customer to close of sale
• Describing and promoting product in line with customer's express needs as well as promoting purchase of related products
• Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
• Promote extended warranty/maintenance agreements, parts and accessories purchase
• Monitor sales trends and help balance inventory between stores
• Register access to ring up
Qualifications:
• 3 years retail sales experience - Required
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn the register - Required
• Communicate English both verbal and written - Required
• Ability to comprehend and apply specific company designed methods and protocol - Preferred
Position Available: Head Cashier - Colorado Ski & Sport - Park Meadows
Status: Full Time Year Round
Head Cashiers are responsible for positively impacting the customer's shopping experience by effectively training, supervising, and directing cashiers.
• Effectively train and direct the activities of cashiers and set the standard for customer service
• Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with company procedures and guidelines
• Resolve situations to the satisfaction of the customer
• Ensure that merchandise displays are clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Ensure returned merchandise is restocked to the correct product location on the sales floor
• Monitor the store's operational reports to identify opportunities for improved store execution
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent - Required
• 2 years relevant work experience - Required
• Basic computer skills with ability to learn register - Required
• English fluency - Required
• Ability to interact with customers and associates in a professional, positive, and courteous manner - Required
• 1 year prior experience supervising employees - Preferred

• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends - Required
• Previous retail sales experience - Preferred
• Previous snow sport industry experience - Preferred
